This detector is not a good model. I was expecting more than what I got. It alerts every few seconds to anything. You have to reset the City/Highway mode each time you start it up and it only have audiable alerts that are not discernable, the readout is so small that you cant tell what type of alert you are getting. It has not alerted me to an actual police radar yet.

paid under $40 for this radar detector. it has good sensitivity and range and covers all the bands plus laser detection…wny spend more?
