This bracket was developed for the Valentine One radar detector for mounting it vertically.
The main point of the vertical mount is to be able to sense / detect those radar units more effectively what work with band X, K, Ka, Ku and operate on low transmitting performance.

These radar units are usually polarized vertically, and as such, the detector should also be located vertically.

This results in better reception by the detector as it can now better detect the radar signals from longer distances and drivers have more time to brake and slow down. At the same time the amount of false alarm could be reduced compared to horizontal placement.

The mount can be used against the radar units which work on low transmitting power and located on motorways or not fixed.

Would it be better if you wouldve flipped the radar so the power button would be at the bottom so the rear antenna would pick up better for rear radar???
