Haven’t encountered a trooper with X, but where i live, all the town cops still use X and have it constant on. i get like .8 miles with my v1

ahh yeah, one of their favorite places other than the crossover ramps. I was on the turnpike yesterday and yup, they still use X-band in many of their units. Dirt cheap for them and they payback is incredible. Yeah, they could by LIDAR but the profits would not increase much since it is easy pickens for our friends in blue on the NJTP.

wow…first cop I’ve EVER seen using X. I live in upstate NY and all I see is laser KA and K. BTW NORMAN3016 plan and simple. Cobra sucks. Spend the extra cash and get the V1. I promise you won’t be sorry

I’ve seen the Jersey Troopers using X-Band on several occasions. 195 is always a big radar trap area. I use a V-1 and they are pretty flawless. Mine cost me an additional $400 because my wife liked it so much I had to buy her one.

X and S band are two of the oldest used, any radar detector should pick them up.

In only one state that I’m aware of … VA. It’s legal everywhere else and SHOULD be legal ANYWHERE. If they are going to shoot me with a radar beam or anything else, I should have the right to know about it. It’s a bogus law.
