There are tons of these false alerts, luckily that's what the boggy counter is for. I sometimes disable K-band on the freeway, to cut down on this stuff. I also had X-band shut off and still got X-band alerts sometimes, but that went away after a while...weird... 559 is absolutely right. It should not be necessary. The V1 performs stellar in these conditions because it has k band automuting (different then Bel or Escort automuting).
