Yes, that’s the purpose of the video. The V1 detects all radar signals regardless of the source. To point of the video is to illustrate the annoyance of k band drones.

Yes, that is the point of the video…to show the detector picking up radar signals. However, they aren’t real threats.

its not the detectors fault its doing what its designed to do the police are not the only ones who have equipment that puts out K band emissions

I wish I would have had some of the k band falses that go full blast (like being hit with an instant on radar gun).

Those are fun and scare the crap out of you.

I run with all 8 LED’s suppressed in little L mode on the freeway (but this video is shot in All bogeys (A) mode to show what its like without using k band automuting. Both little L and Big L take advantage of the k band automuting while A mode always receives all threats (unless a specific band is turned off)

Turn off x band and pop in CA. It should not be necessary.

The V1 performs stellar in these conditions because it has k band automuting (different then Bel or Escort automuting). It unmutes based on the strength of the signal you program in it).

559 is absolutely right. There are tons of these false alerts, luckily that’s what the boggy counter is for.

I sometimes disable K-band on the freeway, to cut down on this stuff.

I also had X-band shut off and still got X-band alerts sometimes, but that went away after a while…weird…

apparently you have never been to CA before. Take a look around and you will see all kinds of stuff attached to windows.

A similar law also applies in Minnesota, however, in CA it is never enforced.

I see you are using suction cups to hold up the V1. That should be illegal in California, no?

google “suction cups illegal california”

or look up section 26708 driver code

just a heads up

No thanks

I’d rather not lock out a real police k band.

Do some research and you will see……

You need the 9500i so you can lock out the K bands.
