The officer does not have to show you the calibration log. If you want to see it, go to court.

Make sure you ask the officer to show you that the radar gun was calibrated that day with the included tuning fork. Every kit has one, and every officer is required to calibrate it prior to use. I have seen a stop sign clocked at 40mph because the gun was turned on and used without setting it.

If you have a ticket, just google how to get out of it. There a lots of laws that often make speeding tickets illegitimate; just look up the Speed Trap Law

Radar units are mostly self diagnosing and Officers have tuning forks in their crusiers.

Also Officers do not have to be technical experts on radar units to use them so dont try that in court either.
