this guy is giving bad info…. any ticket clinic or lawfirm will tell u that you should never admit guilt, uncertainty, or doubt about your speed. Just say i was going the speed limit.

I think it’s fine to admit guilt if one is actually guilty, and the law broken is a reasonable one… then simply ask for forgiveness, if not to the cop then to the judge. If one isn’t sure, ask for the evidence. If the law is dumb then fight it. After one is good at those things, then consider getting into the whole Freeman on the Land common law thing where one knows he isn’t subject to traffic code anyway.

you are kidding right? I don’t know what state you live in but where I live the original goes to the court and if you refuse to sign you go to jail. Here you get the yellow copy, not the blue. But that’s here in Fl. I would be very careful of following advice from anyone on this forum – it could cost you a lot of money and you may wind up in jail. You may not like cops but they are there to protect you just as much as ticket you.

no. i got puld over for donig 25mile over the limit and i told the the cop i had bin drinking.. he grab me out of my car and pull me in back of the cruser after blowing it showed i had 0.0 blood alchlol i told him i was 4 h ago be the time he tested me he forgot why he puld me over and let me go haha.

keep it simple stupid – the KISS principle. be polite, yes sir, no sir (no matter how upset you are that you were picked on – boo hoo). do not admit guilt and simply say I must have something else on my mind. If he starts to walk to his car with your DL you are getting a ticket so say “excuse me officer but can I ask you to cut me a break.” That’s your best chance. Size up the officer LOL. trust me, after 32 years, I’ve been talked out of a lot of tickets but a bad attitude will get you.

To get out of a speeding ticket one must ask for the original after signing it and if the cop refuses, take your blue copy and have it notarized and send it to the courts, if they don’t present a new bill of exchange, the cop who endorsed the bill will be liable.
