Cobra XRS 9960G Radar Detector Review

Could you please tell me whether I can turn all these alert on, or it might have some that I should let off.

I bought this radar detector and I just got it today in the mail; I would like to know whether this radar is ligal or illegal in New Jersey State.

Thanks, I found the manual and I did read it, so now I know the meanings of each of them.

Read the manual for one, X-band is a common signal. I believe New Jersey is the only state that uses the old signal.

I was driving other day and showed up on the radar, X alert. I would like to know what x alert means please?

ok..knowing that the COBRA XRS 9345 is not a good one,so im just ganna return mine 2 store en buy a V1, please tell me a gooooooood VALENTINE V1 RADAR MODEL, 2 buy it on line.

There are three bands, X, K and Ka these are the frequency blocks that police radar use

but what’s exactly a band, is that CB radio that the police car use…???

the cop has to have his band on to be picked up

The radar detector will not read cops if they are not using any form of speed guns or speed detection units… If the cop car isn’t using anything like that, the radar detector will treat them as regular cars…

question… between the XRS 9960G and the XRS R9G which one is better? or which one would you recommend.. i really wanna buy a cobra but i cant decide between the R9G or the 9960G

Phazer II is a passive scrambler, it has been proven multiple times that it doesn’t work. I would never recommend using it.

I just got the cobra xrs 979. I wanted to know if it is the same quilaty as the xrs 9960G. I looked them both up and they had almost all the same features.

if u want to a decent radar detector buy a Valentine 1 more money but woth it multi boggy directional shows arrows were the signal is coming from think about it
