cobra XRS 9930

I have a Passport 9500ix. And I hate these Cobras. Those detectors are so poorly shielded that my detector picks up their radar signal when I am anywhere near another car/truck with one in it. On a busy freeway this happens much too often. Worse, it’s a Ka-band false. In my area LEOs only use Ka-band radar and rarely use laser on the highways.

the truth is cobra is way better than most people think. With the V1 you got to keep hiding it every time you park in order not to get your windows broken.

saved me from a few tickets already. chp came up behind me at night and flipped on radar as soon as my cell phone rang. the law just went into effect, so my friend took the call. without it, i woulda been done. mine’s level and mounted waaay higher. it was a present, but i’d get a valentine 1 next time around, arent they in the neighborhood of $500?

Cobra sucks…I have the Valentine V1 and it is the best detector on the market….Cobra sets off my V1 because of the leakage

If we are idiots why dont you try looking at test results. They dont lie. So I guess we are idiots cause we actualy did research instead of buying one kind of radar and only having experience with that brand. Try again deusche bag. Cobra’s are pretty much useless especialy when it comes down to KA band. I always laugh when a cobra owner says “its good enough for me” or “it works for me”.

My V1 has beat my buddies XRS9950 every time on K and Ka Band detection. If your gonna spend the moeny get the best, not the cheapest.

shit all cobra users mount their radar detectors shitty, i had one…for a week, returned it for a v995, at least i took the time to mount it level.

The mount can bend little so it can face level if it doesn’t.
