I just got this detector this week, tomorrow I will test it good on the expressway, I know all the hideout places for cops, (try the http://www.Trapster.com ) I tested yesterday and I was surprised when the radar went off and the policy car was more than a mile away.

This radar detector is not sensitive enough. Most of the time, I saw cop cars before the radar detector alerted me. I have driven right past cops and the device only showed a strength rated 1 (out of 5). The last straw was when there was a cop RIGHT NEXT TO ME in the next lane, and we were stopped at a traffic light, and the radar detector didn’t alert until I began to make my left turn. Only once did it ever reach a strength above 1: when I was on a completely straight road and a cop approached from afar.
I returned this. Using it is pointless. My eyes can do a better job.

this product works great it picks up a lot more things a lot faster than my old radar detector. and you can’t beat the price.

So far so good, a bit bulky and hard to place on the windshield due to its shape.

Great price and quick shipping. I like the way the unit alerts then the sound volume lesses considerabley after the initial alert. It gets your attention but doesn’t aggrevate by a constant load alert.
