To tell you the truth that was not very good detection. Although better then nothing. Try the 9500IX it's nice.

It was okay for K band. I have a Whistler Pro 78 Rev C now and K band performs just a small bit better, but Ka band is our main band here and the Pro 78 kills the Cobra in every way. There is no warning at all from the Cobra and about 3 miles every time from the Pro 78. 9500I series is excellent but not in my price range. The Pro 78 is only around $130 and it'll will sometimes even outperform Beltronics and Escorts, especially off axis.

I actually somewhat disagree. The sad fact the slips under the radar is that other than 35.5 Ka, the Cobra and the Pro 78 were very similar on 34.7 Ghz Ka (Stalker), the most commonly used Ka gun. In fact the Cobra slightly edged out the Pro 78 rev C. on 33.8 Ka (MPH Industries). However the Pro destoys the Cobra on K band and the Cobra is blind to 35.5 Ka (Custom, Decatur).
