Hi, Was this mounted in the grill or windscreen?
Does it operate best in the grill if so?

Im assuming vertically mounting them is the best for 6F 34.3?

Hi Rowan,
Yes the STi-R antenna was mounted in the Grill and yes mounting (most) detectors horizontally increases your Multanova 6F detection

Sorry but do you mean mounted vertically in the grill?
How does the Sti-R compare to the Bel 975r?

Thanks Delonix

Yes, mounted vertically in the grill.
How does the STi-R compare to Bel 975r in terms of what? Multanova detection....or something else?

It would be quite difficult to mount a bulky item vertically in the front grill, so if it was mounted behind the bumper and etc. Would this lower the sensitivity?
And yes is the Bel 975r a better RD for Multinova 6F 34.3 detection?

Thanks again Delonix

So long as the bumper has no metal you can mount the antenna behind it. Radar will pass through plastic & fibreglass but not metal (including bull bars etc)

Of course laser will not penetrate the bumper, so you need to keep that in mind. The STi-R antenna also has the laser sensors built in, but the 975r radar antenna is separate to the laser detection sensors.

The STi-R is slightly better than the 975r against multanova - as shown in our videos.
